Winter skills session
Looking at movement skills and how to carry the additional equipment required in Winter. Further days would be required to practice all the skills required to be safe in the Winter Mountains, but this day is a great opportunity to get out for the first time and experience it. Discovering how the Winter Season changes the landscape and risks associated with that. We will focus on movement in Crampons, avalanche awareness and basic self arrest techniques.
Arrive back at base for a debrief, de-kit and a rewarding drink, chat and relax.
